Hasta que la tele nos separe
This is an updated version of the successful show, ‘Luna de miel’ (Honeymoon). In 1993 the show debuted in Spanish on several regional channels, and in Catalan on TV3, presented by Mayra Gómez Kemp and Montse Guallar, respectively. Both shows were an adaptation of European television’s Honeymoon quiz show, which was designed to offer an hour and a half of entertainment, with a touch of humour, wit and novelty. In this latest version, ‘Hasta que la tele nos separe’, three newlywed couples and their respective family members competed for the grand prize: a luxury honeymoon, a cash prize and a beautiful car. To win, they had to answer a sequence of questions on general culture, pass a visual agility test, overcome physical exertion tests and Q-and-A boat crossings to keep their boats afloat, as well as record-time catwalk runs without falling into the pool.
