Sinceramente Ana Rosa Quintana

Gestmusic once again looked to the Madrid journalist Ana Rosa Quintana to present the daily talk show ‘Sinceramente, Ana Rosa Quintana’, which began broadcasting on Antena 3 televisión in early 1997. Every afternoon a topic of interest was raised and different contributions were made by people about their problems and concerns regarding the question. Problems such as compulsive gambling, obesity, unfaithfulness, children abandoned by their parents or experiences with faith healing were just some of the topics dealt with daily.

Lighter subjects also came up, such as a programme dedicated to finding doubles of famous people, mothers-inlaw or the relationship between mothers and sons, with the peculiarity that the latter were drag queens. More than one person was surprised to discover that it was the drag queen’s own mother who sewed the extravagant dresses in which they got dressed up to perform. All in all, it covered all types of topics, those that would awaken more interest amongst viewers and about which the public could also intervene from the studio with questions or contributions.
