Paranoia Semanal was conceived with the aim of offering the usual entertainment, as the debate is presented with large doses of humour and satire. A satire that is manifest in both the tone of the debaters and other activities, such as criticising current affairs through songs, going out to the streets with a very cynical reporter to find out the status of a given issue, and surfing the other TV channels to see how they have covered the same topics.
The Paranoia Semanal debate team is diverse, including journalists, ex-politicians, actors and singers. In a word, anyone with a line of reasoning and the irony to present it is welcome to our show. In addition to the six debaters that discuss different issues each week, we also have the opinions of experts and specialists, as well as the testimonies of the people involved, who are seated in our row zero.
Show host Juan y Medio leads and mediates the debate on Paranoia Semanal, on a set that accommodates a studio audience of over 600 people who are also invited to voice their opinions.
