Sketchup

In February 1999 Telecinco premiered ‘Sketchup’, a programme compiling the best comedy from around the world with an uninterrupted succession of gags and short sketches starring the best comics in the world. To make the programme, comedy series by comedians around the world and made by important channels and production companies were used. The material mainly came from England, France, Germany, the United States, Canada and Australia.

The sketches were carefully selected, adapted and intermixed so that they had a unity and were fully comprehensible and funny. The most difficult task was choosing, since we were looking for sketches that were suitable for this country, and would make good adaptations rather than simple translations in order to provide a package that was attractive, varied and funny.

Modern graphic design and meticulous post-production gave Sketchup an attractive image and fast and furious rhythm, kept up throughout a whole hour.
