The success of the hidden cameras in the taxi of Jordi Pàmies for the programme ‘Tot per l’audiència’ was the origin of its own show on Televisió de Catalunya in the summer of 1994, broadcast on Thursday nights in prime time.

Few knew at the time how dangerous it could be by getting into a taxi. A few tiny hidden cameras on the inside of the cab were all that was required to play the most outrageous practical jokes on many unsuspecting passengers. They were not the only ones, though. Famous people, among them Rosa Maria Sardà, Óscar Nebreda or Paulovsky were also victims of the trick. Even well-known comedians such as Barragán or Pedro Reyes fell into the “trap”. A van fitted with full production equipment followed the taxi around the city and mixed the images on the move to give the gags more authenticity.
