“Tú sí que vales” is a talent show broadcast on Tele 5 that sets out to discover new talents for Spain’s art and entertainment scene. The participants, selected through castings all around Spain, show off their skills in disciplines such as song, dance, juggling, impersonation, comedy and any other sort of performance that might display a special skill.
Thus, the country’s most outstanding performers take part in weekly gala shows hosted by Christian Gálvez, and then submit to the verdict of a judges’ panel made up of Javier Sardá, Noemí Galera and Ángel Llàtzer. Yet it is the audience that decides on the winner of the final gala show, by calling or sending in their votes via SMS text message. The winner of “Tú sí que vales” walks off with 30,000 euros in prize money and two star performances on two Tele 5 shows.
